Rick Botkin is an outstanding teacher whose dedication to our school and students goes far beyond the classroom. As our Student Council teacher, he inspires student leadership and helps create a positive school culture. He is also a valued member of the AVID team, where he works tirelessly to support student success and encourage academic growth.

In addition, Mr. Botkin has coached students in several sports over the past several years, and he continues to keep score at games, demonstrating his ongoing commitment to our school community. No matter the task, he is always willing to step in and help anyone who needs it. His selflessness, dependability and genuine care for students and colleagues make him an exceptional educator and truly deserving recipient of recognition.

Michelle Santa Cruz is an invaluable member of our school community whose dedication and commitment are evident in everything she does. As our Attendance Registration Specialist, she consistently goes above and beyond to support students, families, and staff. Michelle knows our students and their families exceptionally well, making her an essential resource for the Dean of Students and campus monitors when assistance is needed. 

She is always quick to respond, eager to help, and willing to step in wherever she is needed. Michelle also played a critical role in the success of our recent ELD audit, demonstrating her attention to detail and commitment to excellence. Beyond her daily responsibilities, she brings our school celebrations to life by coordinating the beautiful decorations for milestone events such as support staff celebrations, Signing Day and Graduation. Her reliability, positivity, and unwavering dedication make Michelle a truly deserving recipient of recognition.

Melody Jones is an exceptional campus monitor whose leadership, professionalism, and dedication make a lasting impact on our school community.  She has taken the time to build meaningful relationships with our students, earning their trust while providing guidance and support whenever they need it. 

Melody consistently upholds school expectations by ensuring students follow the rules, and she leads by example by encouraging her coworkers to do the same. Her fairness, consistency and genuine care have earned her the respect and admiration of both students and staff. Melody's positive influence, strong work ethic, and commitment to creating a safe and supportive school environment make her truly deserving of this recognition.
