AVID is thriving at RINCON

Rincon High School will be proudly continuing the AVID program on their campus during the 2021-2022 school year.

 

AVID's mission is to close the achievement gap by preparing ALL students for college and career readiness in a global society.  

 

Cate Wilcox will be teaching the AVID elective as well as coordinating the program from the ground up. She has 6 years AVID teaching/coordinating experience and as spent the past32 years traveling throughout AVID's Western Division training AVID teachers in professional learning settings. Cate is a Tucson native and when not teaching, she is hard to pin down as she is a devoted world traveler.
